This summer at EDSI™, we are proud to announce an experience centered on groundbreaking virtual machine technology: Life After VMware. In proud collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise ® (HPE) and Veeam, we will present and give live access to HPE‘s cutting-edge virtual machine system VM Essentials (VME).
This powerful system comes at a pivotal time, as VMware continues to increase licensing fees and greatly reduce its partner network. In response, EDSI™ invites you to join us at Topgolf Cleveland for Life After VMware, an immersive outing centered on HPE VM Essentials, with Veeam backup and recovery integration.
Throughout the event, attendees will receive a firsthand taste of the power and flexibility of VM Essentials. Its robust management software, VM Essentials Manager, gives users comprehensive control over their VME virtual machines while also integrating with existing VMware environments. This allows organizations to explore a new virtualization platform gradually, without the uncertainty of a full leap to a new program.
With Veeam integration, organizations can protect their virtual machines throughout the migration process and maintain reliable recovery options in the event of disruption. During the event, attendees will see how Veeam safely backs up VMware workloads before they are converted and restored within the VM Essentials environment, helping remove much of the risk and uncertainty from provider-switching conversations.
Life After VMware is more than a lunch & learn. HPE and Veeam specialists will provide a detailed look at VM Essentials Manager, demonstrate a VMware-to-VME conversion in real time, and explain how backup and recovery technology can support a smooth transition.
Virtual Environment Access
Attendees will then receive access to a pre-built lab environment where they can perform their own virtual-machine migration. This hands-on experience will allow participants to become familiar with VM Essentials Manager, explore the migration process, and see how Veeam protects workloads before, during, and after the transition.
After the Seminar
The experience does not end when attendees leave Topgolf. Participants will retain access to the lab environment for an additional 24 to 48 hours, giving them more time to explore VM Essentials, practice migrations, and test Veeam backup and recovery capabilities. Following the technical portion of the event, attendees are invited to continue the conversation over appetizers and Topgolf.
Life After VMware offers IT leaders, systems administrators, and infrastructure professionals an opportunity to experience a powerful VMware alternative while speaking directly with the experts behind the technology.
